Email Newsletters, Free Downloads, Online Forms:
In order to use the public areas of the website, visitors are not required to give us their information, however they may voluntarily give us their first name, last name and email address if they choose to sign up for the free electronic newsletter we publish, and/or one of the free downloadable forms, which may include a series of related business tips by email. All emails include “Unsubscribe” information if they no longer wish to receive the emails.
We do not collect personal information about you except when you specifically provide this information on a voluntary basis. If you communicate with us by e-mail, complete online forms or surveys, any information provided in such communication may be collected as Personal Information. The use of Personal Information collected by Marketing Systems By Design shall be limited to the purpose of providing the service for which you have registered.
The information that we collect from visitors is never shared or sold to other parties or organizations except our Credit Card Processors, should they make a purchase.
Members and Order Processing:
We use a credit/payment card processing company (just like every business that accepts credit cards has to), to bill users for goods and services. Marketing Systems By Design only passes the required information to the credit card company, which includes the name, email address, card number, expiration date, CVV code, phone number, billing address and I.P. address.
The only information we obtain from MEMBERS who subscribe to the private members area of the site, is information we need to process credit card charges for membership dues. Members will receive email receipts for their purchase and a welcome email. As part of registering for the Service, members will receive occasional emails from us in order to provide them with membership updates, new content or invitations to live events. All emails include “Unsubscribe” information if they no longer wish to receive the updates.
The only information we obtain from CUSTOMERS who purchase services, is information we need to process credit card charges for product purchases.
The information collected is never revealed, sold, or made public for any reason. Personally identifiable information provided (name, email or address, etc.) is never disclosed to any individual or business.
We use a variety of security measures to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of your personal information under our control. When you enter sensitive information such as log in credentials or a credit card number on our order forms, we encrypt the transmission of that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. Our payment systems through through our merchant account and Authorize.net secures your data and is PCI Compliant and GDPR Compliant. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Cookies are stored on your computer before being transferred to our website. You therefore have full control over how cookies are used. By changing the settings in your internet browser, you can deactivate or limit the transmission of cookies. Stored cookies can be deleted at any time. This can also be done automatically. If cookies are deactivated for our website, it is possible that certain functions will no longer be available.
In order to provide you with greater value, some of our pages may provide links to various third party websites. In no case is member information or ‘cookies’ provided to the third party sites. However, keep in mind that many sites do attempt to capture visitor information when you browse those sites. Once you leave our site, we are not able to alert you should another site attempt to gather information from your browser.
